Musician and Teacher Discounts

Recording Artists

Whether you have a full touring band or just record in your home studio, you can qualify to receive up to three free stone picks in trade for three mp3s recorded with Picks and Stones' gemstone guitar picks. Your mp3 can be in any format, such as demo, live recording, or studio recording. In return you will receive any pick of your choice per mp3, including one Necklace and one Rare Pick. You also receive your own 10% discount code to pass on to anyone you want. The discount can be redeemed on our site at anytime.

The mp3 must be a full length song or long demo and have at least one track featuring a Picks and Stones gemstone guitar pick. For each mp3 with one stone pick track we will trade one pick of the artists choice, up to 3 total. If an mp3 features more than one musician using a stone pick, more than one pick can be traded for that mp3. For example: a guitarist and a bassist both using our stone picks on the same mp3 will receive one pick each in return.

Our goal is to have as many styles and regions represented as possible on our mp3 page, you can view it to get an idea of our basic format. The idea is simple; we can describe our picks in great detail but they can clearly speak for themselves. And an added benefit for you is having another forum for people to discover your music for the first time. We feature an image and brief bio that directly links back to your homepage, and we welcome you to link back to us.

Contact us for more information on how to be a part of our mp3 page.

Music Teachers

If you are an instructor of guitar, bass, or mandolin, you also qualify for a 10% discount code that you can pass on to your students, colleagues, and friends. We'll send you several dozen of our brochures with special labels showing your discount code and simple instructions on how to redeem the discount on our website anytime. We send a brochure stand that can sit on a counter or be hung on a wall to help display the brochures. If you are a recording artist and teacher you can participate in both of these programs simultaneously.

AMBER PICKS!

The Ultimate substitute for the forbidden fruit of Tortoise Shell Picks.

"With these beautiful polished stone picks, the ease of playability, the quality of service, and, most importantly, the control over tone you have as a player; Why anyone chooses to stick with crappy plastic picks is beyond me. Thank you, Picks and Stones!"

"The best $25 dollars I have ever spent on anything period!"

"I've owned stone guitar picks for over 15 years, but these are by far the best I've ever seen. The quality is excellent and the finish is perfect. I highly recommend these picks."

Wow. My tone is changed completely. As soon as I got used to the pick (about 2 days)
I was acheiving the tone I had been stiving for for years.
Worth every penny.

I've used stone for 20 plus years, but none have had the bevel just right...till now! Thank you.

I didn't know what to expect from a stone pick, and spending this much on a pick was either going to be a great decision or a really bad one. Now that I've played with it a few hours, I'm delighted with the brilliant tone and wonderful resonance. It will take some getting used to, but I'm looking forward to rediscovering my guitar - this is how it's supposed to sound!

The attack is not as agressive as plastic, very smooth. Triplets are effortless. I seem to get from string to string quicker, but who knows. I was a little wary of spending twenty bucks on a pick, but there is no wear at all and after a year I still have it.
